Read bugreports.html and also try current cvs, rc2 is outdated.

Limitation of something, dont know what. 
(Theoreticaly it should be possible to reconfigure the vo module)

It's not a bug, but a missing feature.

Dont know whether it's easily possible.

Dont see much sens behind this. Interactive dumping is inexact
use the seeking options for this.
