[MPlayer-users] Video editor advice?

Don't you dare blame your hardware. If you're having trouble editing
videos on a rig like that (Athlon 1300, half a gig of RAM), it is your
SOFTWARE at fault. Heck, several years ago top-of-the-line video editing
workstations had a lot less horsepower than that. Not to be too critical,
but open-source/free software video editing software is a notorious myth.
Most OSS/FS software in this sort of category is extremely clunky at best.
