[MPlayer-users] Matrox Mystique - black screen with -vo sdl

Hello

When I run mplayer with -vo sdl I get audio, but no video output - only
black window with small green rectangle at top-right corner. This is
mplayer -v output:

With -vo xv not working either (I get Xvideo extension loaded, but when
I run xvinfo my TV tuner card is the only adaptor showing up) I am
forced to use x11, which is very slow.

SDL works with some video codecs (eg. divx4), but is even slower than
x11.

The problem occured with several versions of mplayer - from mplayer
.90-pre to mplayer-0.90-rc5.
