I have sent this to the mythtv list and this list in hopes of finding
someone with 10x more mplayer experience who can explain what is causing
this to happen...as I don't know where to start looking.
The patch that made getting mpg4 out of a .nuv file is attached. Any help
would be greatly appreciated as mplayer, and AV in general, is way out of my
domain. The patch is vs. rc4, but applies to rc5 with no conflicts,
however, causes the same errors.
If this is beyond the scope of the list, apologies.

Here is the output that just segfaulted on me, I'm seeing this on some files
and not on others. This specific one is the Daily Show, however, the one I
encoded just before it worked like a charm.
Note that this was recorded on the 26th of this month with MythTV CVS of the
22nd-23rd.
This can be duplicated with a very simple command line as well (oac mp3lame,
ovc lavc and nothing else but fps.) It happens at the 6 second mark of the
original .nuv. I could chop the first 6 seconds off and send it to someone
if required (assuming that a .nuv file will survive a simple chopping)
