[MPlayer-users] not auto detecting best codec!

The first line tells you that X11 has opened a window, but the last line tells 
you that mplayer can't find any video in the stream (i.e. if there is video 
in there it doesn't know how to decode it.)

Probably not, from what Rich said it seems like mplayer just can't play those 
files yet.
